2. All plastic, trim, lights and flammable items must be removed.
3. All glass must be removed. (NO GLASS IN DOORS OR CHANNELS)
4. Windshield must be removed & replaced with screen and 3- 1inch X 1/8 inch steel straps in the center of the windshield opening no more than 4 inches apart. NO CHICKEN WIRE. 1 INCH MAX OPENING IN SCREEN.
5. Doors must be chained, welded or bolted closed.
6. Bumpers must be chained or cabeled to prevent loss. (NO REINFORCEMENT OF FRONT OR REAR BUMPERS ALLOWED)
7. Hood must have tool-less entry to engine compartment with hood release disabeled, or a hole in the hood if needed (maximum of 2 holes allowed. No more than 5 inches X 4 inches each.
8. Trunks must be empty and clear clear of debris.
9. NO ADDING OF WEIGHT TO ANY PLACE ON OR IN THE CAR !!!!!!!
10. 3 point rollbar or brace behind seat from pillar to pillar with door bar is mandatory. 4 POINT CAGE IS RECOMMENDED. Door bar must be welded or bolted securely. (SUBJECT TO TECH) ALL V8 CARS MUST HAVE A 4 POINT CAGE MANDATORY.
11. Door bar must be mounted no higher than the top af the tire, no lower than the center of wheel. (1 3/4 inch pipe or 1 inch X 3 inch flat steel max size with the ends turned in. NO TIRE CUTTERS!!!!! No other outside bars allowed front or rear.
12. FUEL TANKS:
1. Stock tanks may remain in stock location if in front of rear.
2. Fuel cells, marine, or stock type tank allowed in trunk if mounted as far forward as possible. Firewall required if fuel tank mounted in trunk.
3. MOUNTING SUBJECT TO TECH. 2 straps from front to rear and side to side.
13. TIRES AND WHEELS
1. Tires- DOT Passanger tire only. (NO RACING TIRES OR WINTER TIRES ALLOWED. NO STUDS.
2. 60 series or higher (60,65,70, etc)
A. 6/8 Cyl 225-60 max tire size (235/70 Allowed)
B. 4 cyl 195/60 max size
3. RIM WIDTH
A. 6/8 cyl = 7 inches
B. 4 cyl =6 inches
4. Stock offset- backspace & Rim size must be the same on all four corners. Racing wheels
allowed but must be all the same offset on all four. 3 INCH MAX OFFSET (NO 2 INCH OR 1
INCH OFFSETS ALLOWED, No lightweight racing wheels,no beedlocks.)
5. No wheel spacers or bleeder vaulves.
14. BATTERY
Battery must be mounted securely. If in stock location must be covered with a rubber matt.
If relocated must be in a marine type battery box and mounted securely.
15. Any rear wheel drive car must have driveshaft safety hoop (NO CHAIN). Drive shaft must be painted white or a bright color to allow visibility if lost on the track.
16. AIR INDUCTION
Aftermarket air filters are allowed. Stock replacement type only. Fuel injected cars must use stock air box. Carburated cars 3 inch open element max.
17. Exhaust must exit behind the driver to the side of the car.
18. SAFETY
1. All cars must utilize stock seat belt if stock seat is used (4 POINT HARNESS RECOMMENDED)
2. Racing seat is allowed if mounted properly. IF YOU ARE USING A RACING SEAT YOU MUST USE A 4 POINT HARNESS.
3. Drop down window net is mandatory.Net must DROP DOWN NOT LIFT UP.....
4. HELMET must be a 2000 or newer SNELL approved helmet. (NO DIRTBIKE HELMETS)
5. Neck collar is mandatory.
6. Gloves are mandatory.
7. SFI single layer jacket, or Denim jacket, Denim pants, All must be clean of oil, grease or any flamable contamination, no holes or tears. TRACK OFFICALS RECOMMEND ALL DRIVERS TO WEAR A FIRESUIT, NOMEX UNDERWEAR, HEAD SOCK, GLOVES AND SHOES.
19. All components to remain stock for year make and model of car being used vin # should remain on the car.
1. No interchanging of parts: suspension, motor or transmission,
2. No added weight or balast of any kind.
3. No reinforcing of any type at all
4. No racing parts other than wheels.
5. No preloaded sway bars.
6. No passangers.
7. No glass fuel filters.
20. DUE TO THE WIDE RANGE OF CARS, DUNN HILL 2 TECH INSPECTORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ALLOW OR NOT ALLOW ANY OR ALL PARTS OR MODIFICATIONS TO EVEN UP THE FIELD. OVER COMPETETIVE CARS MAY BE RESTRICTED AS NEEDED.
SAFETY IS OUR GOAL. ANYONE USING THEIR CAR AS A WEAPON OR OVER AGGRESSIVE DRIVING WILL BE BLACK FLAGGED AND WILL NEVER BE PERMITTED TO RACE AN ENDURO EVENT AT DUNN HILL 2 SPEEDWAY AGAIN.
