2013 Street
Stock Rules
Any 1955 to
present RWD, except 1982 &
newer
Camaro & Firebirds. Chassis must be stock dimensions
for year, make, & model. All chassis must remain stock for year,
make & model, unless otherwise noted. (Minimum
wheelbase of 107 inches). Stock mounting points must be
utilized, no altering, cutting, or moving of any suspension
mounting points. Rear frame rails from center line of rear axle
to rear of frame (bumper mounts) may be replaced with 2x3 square
tubing .095 minimum wall thickness. Unibody cars must have stock
front and rear frame sections
tied together with 2x3 or 2x4 square tubing .095 minimum wall
thicknesses. No tubular chassis. Refer to
Unibody diagram.
ROLL BARS & BRACING
Roll bars must be a
complete
6 pt. bar with 4 inside of driver’s door. Bar must be minimum 1
1/2 O.D.

junctions must be gusseted, also must have 1
down bar center of windshield opening of the same dimensions. No
offset or set
back
of the roll cage.
SEAT
Aluminum
racing seat is mandatory. Must have a high back, minimum of
.095 materials, 5 pt. harness &
window
net mandatory.
FRONT SUSPENSION
A. Upper Control
Arms:
May use stock unaltered OEM A frames or replacement steel cross
shaft aftermarket a-arm NO longer than 9 inches measured from
center of cross shaft to center of ball joint. Aftermarket upper
A frame mounts allowed in OEM location with a max. 1 inch
tolerance. Control arm length of 9 inches MAX. Strut cars can
run auxiliary shocks but must disable dampening of original
strut shock by drilling and draining fluid.

Control arms must use OEM type ball joints. Screw
in ball joints allowed. May use urethane or solid bushings.
NO offset bushings. NO mono balls. NO adjustable A-arms.

B. Lower Control Arms:
OEM stock unaltered A-frames. They must be mounted in
original
factory mounts. No altering of A-frames or mounts. You may
use steel or urethane replacement
bushings. NO offset bushings. Must use OEM type ball joint,
screw in ball joints allowed. NO flexi
flyer A-frames, NO moving or altering of mounting points.
C. Spindles:
Stock OEM for make, model, and year of chassis being used. No
pinto, Vega or after
market spindles. You must use OEM
wheel
bearings. Spindle savers are allowed.

D. Steering: Steering box, tie rod
ends, idle arm, pitman arm & center link must be stock
unaltered
OEM parts for year, make & model of chassis being used. No
cutting or altering of any steering
parts. You may use aftermarket tie rod adjusting sleeves but
they must be steel & no more than 4
1/2 in long.

E. Shocks: Shocks may be mounted
to the Frontside or Backside of the lower A-Frame. Welded
bearing shocks allowed. NO adjustable shocks, NO aluminum
shocks. No Schrader valves or remote reservoir shocks
allowed, one shock per wheel. NO coilovers.
F. Front Springs:
Front springs OEM style, aftermarket springs allowed. They
may be any length
and they must fit into stock upper mount in frame and
lower A-frame location. May use adjustable
spring cups on top of springs only. Jacking bolts
allowed. Cars using jacking bolts must weigh 3250
Lbs.
REAR SUSPENSIONNo
moving or altering of any rear suspension part except where
noted. Rear suspension must be all stock
mounting points for year, make & model chassis being used.
NO slotted holes in either rear-end or on frame.
Rear control arms may be aftermarket or fabricated. Lower
rear must maintain OEM length, and mount in OEM locations.)
Lower control arms must not be adjustable and must utilize
stock style bushings. Upper trailing arms may be altered to
achieve pinion angle. Upper trailing arms may be adjustable
and may use bushings or rod ends.
You
may use polyurethane or steel replacement bushings. NO mono
balls or Heim joints, NO offset bushings, NO composite or mono
leaf springs. No leaf spring sliders, leaf spring cars are
allowed one weight jacking device per wheel. Coil cars are
allowed adjustable spring cups or jacking bolts, no three links
or torque link suspensions.( May use radius rod ends only where
noted any questions see tech official)

Springs: Upper set of spring must mount in stock position in factory cross
member. No moving of
factory cross member. Lower set of springs must be mounted on
top plain of rear end housing.
May use aftermarket weld on mounts. Spring may be of any length
but with a minimum of 5 inches
in diameter. May use adjustable spring cups or jacking bolt.

Shocks: Must be mounted in stock location for the type of rear end housing
being used. Lower
mount of shock must be mounted in stock location. Upper mount of
shock may use an aftermarket
or fabricated mount. May use fixed bearing shocks. No shocks
with a Schrader valve or remote
reservoir. NO coliovers.
ENGINE
1955 to present engine may be run. Must be in model line (i.e.
Chevy/Chevy Ford/Ford and so forth)
Engine must be in stock location. Minimal frame notch allowed
for fuel pump clearance. All blocks &
engine components (head, intake etc.) casting numbers must
remain. Cubic inch limit: Chevy 350, Ford
351 & Mopar 360 must have stock stroke & bore plus.060 oversize
bore. Flat top pistons only, no domes
or pop up. Stock unaltered cast iron 2 barrel intake or option
intake Edelbrock Performer 2101 and Vortec
2116 allowed. Hydraulic or solid cams only, no roller or
hydraulic rollers allowed. 1.5 ratio aluminum
rocker arms allowed. No 1.6 or staggering rocker arms must be
stock firing order. No 4-7 swaps. Stock
cast iron OEM Production heads or Stock Vortec part numbers,
10239906, 12552520, 12558062 allowed.
World Products unaltered part numbers 043600 and 043610 also
allowed. No OTHER aftermarket or high
performance heads permitted. Must have stock casting
identification numbers. No porting, polishing, or
grinding of any kind. No angle plug heads are allowed. No valves
larger than 2.02. No valves larger than
1.94 & 1.50 in Vortec heads.
CARBURATOR
Stock Holley 4412 only. 1 inch carb. spacer allowed plus 2
gaskets total with 1 3/16 max. Carburetor must
pass DH2 gauges. NO alcohol or fuel additives allowed. Gas
pedals must have toe lift. No cable linkage
allowed. 2 RETURN SPRINGS MANDATORY ON CARB!
EXHAUST
Headers: May use chassis or lay back style crossovers. Max 1
5/8 tube, 3 ˝ collector. No 180, tri-y
headers. Mufflers are recommended. Exhaust must be leak free &
fastened securely. Exhaust must exit
behind driver.
IGNITION SYSTEM
12 volt OEM ignitions only, stock type distributor. No
ignition altering devices, no high performance
ignitions allowed. (Accel, MSD, Moroso, DUI etc.)
Note: Engine rules are directed at the Chevy engine. Please
check with Track Officials if another brand
engine is being considered for competition.
FUEL SYSTEM
Fuel cell must be incased in a steel container. All fuel
cells must have a tip over valve in fuel cell or vent
line. Maximum 22 gal. Fuel shut off mandatory painted a bright
color marked on/off in plain view of Track
Official. No plastic or glass fuel filters.
COOLING SYSTEM
Radiator OEM style or aluminum must be in stock location. Must
have one quart overflow tank. 22 pound
radiator cap and fan shroud are recommended. If u should remove
hood & don’t have a shroud you will
not be able to enter track.
BATTERY
All cars must be self starting with a 12 volt system only (No
high voltage batteries). Battery location is
optional. But must be mounted in a safe location and mounted
securely. Terminals must be insulated.
Master disconnect switch mandatory, painted a bright color
marked on/off in plain view of Track Official.
TRANSMISSION
Stock automatic or manual transmission only with all working
gears (including reverse). Automatic
transmissions must have a functional torque converter with no
internal modifications. No trick converters
or any method of creating direct drive. Manual transmissions can
only be three or four speeds. Steel bell
housing mandatory. Stock clutch, pressure plate & flywheel. No
aluminum clutch parts what so ever in
clutch system. No aftermarket transmissions.
REAR END
Stock rear end only. Rear end from different year cars will be
allowed but must remain same as
manufacture. Rears must be locked. No aluminum parts, no limited
slip, posi trac, or locker of any kind.
Driveshaft must be steel and painted white. All cars must have a
full steel drive shaft safety hoop mounted
no more than 6 inches from front u-joint (No chain or cable).
Optional rear end, Nine inch ford rear:
BRAKES
Operable and effective 4 wheel brakes mandatory at all times.
Shut offs allowed, but all components must
be in place (rotor, caliper, hose, etc). Dual brake master
cylinders allowed. Bias adjuster allowed,
REMOTE ADJUSTERS ALLOWED. Rear stock disc brakes allowed. No
aluminum brake parts.
WHEELS
Maximum 8” wheel width. All four wheels must be steel & any
offset. Stock wheels must be reinforced.
Racing wheels recommended, and 1 inch lug nuts mandatory. Bead
locks allowed on right rear only.
TIRES
American Racer 245/70/15 only. No options. No recaps. No
softening of tires. Grooving, buffing, and
siping allowed.
BODY
Windshield openings must be covered with ˝ square wire screen
heavy gauge. Floorboards must be
complete with all holes patched from front firewall to rear
firewall, from outside edge to outside edge of
frame rail. Passenger side floor can be removed, must be
replaced by either 20 gauge steel or .080
aluminum plate, from center of hump to passenger side top door
bar (must be no higher than straight
sloped – No LATE MODEL STYLE COCKPIT. Front firewall must be in
stock location). (can be replaced
with 20 gauge steel or .080 aluminum plate) and rear firewall
and rear window shelf must be sealed must
be sealed off from driver’s compartment with at least 20-gauge
steel, no holes. All doors must be welded
or bolted shut. No solid dark painted bodies will be allowed.
All cars must look presentable. Aluminum
bodies will be allowed as an option. Considering the fact that
teams may attempt to fabricate their own
bodies, the following rules are to be followed:
Body
Any car not resembling the original body design will not be
allowed to co0mpete.
No shoebox bodies, and DH2 Tech team may dismiss any car from
completion for not maintaining body
requirements. NOTE: Rules apply to exterior body panels only.
Roof
OEM street or aftermarket fiberglass replicas only. No homemade
steel, aluminum, or fiberglass roofs.
Fiberglass roofs must be of short track body dimensions and
style. No late model, modified, or IMCA roofs.
Hood
Aluminum (.040 or .050) or steel must cover complete engine
compartment. Hood scoops allowed,
maximum 3 inches tall and 21 inches in width. Hood scoops must
be closed off with no external openings.
Nose piece
May be OEM or aftermarket replica. You must have a nose piece.
Must fit correctly, with no late model
type flairs.
Fenders
May be constructed out of .040 or .050 aluminum, (.050
recommended). Fenders must resemble OEM
fenders. No late model flares and fenders must cover 90% of
tire.
Doors
May be constructed out of .040 or .050 aluminum, (.050
recommended). Doors must resemble OEM
doors.
Quarter panels
May be constructed out of .040 or .050 aluminum, (.050
recommended). Panels must match OEM original
dimensions (within reason). Edges must be rolled or broke for
strength and forms. Must carry some sort
of body lines with fenders and quarter panels in the middle of
the body. Not flat panels.
Upper quarter panels
May be constructed out of .040 or .050 aluminum, (.050
recommended). Panels must match OEM original
dimensions (within reason). No solid panels and they must have
quarter panel window cut in.
Trunk lid
May be constructed out of .040 or .050 aluminum, (.050
recommended). Must cover complete rear section
of the car and be removable for inspection.
Rear panel
May be constructed out of .040 or .050 aluminum, (.050
recommended). Panel must extend quarter panel
to quarter panel. Panel must be a minimum of 12 inches wide. No
screen or mesh allowed. Must be
solid. Aftermarket tail piece recommended.
Spoiler
May be aluminum or lexan. Maximum height is 5 inches. Spoiler
side boards may not exceed 5 inches in
height or 6 inches in length and must not extend beyond the main
spoiler. Must be tapered from tallest
point to lowest point equal on both sides. Spoiler must be
non-adjustable.
BUMPERS AND NERFS
Nerf bars/rub rails: You are only allowed to have one external
horizontal rub rail on each side of the car
between the wheels. Must be steel tubing with a maximum
dimension of 1” wide by 2” high. Rails must
mount flush against the body panels with each end cut at 45
degrees and capped with no sharp edges;
any exposed bolt must be a carriage type head.
Front Bumper: Stock type bumpers & covers only, no exposed
tubular or 2x4 except for hoop.
Rear Bumper: Stock type, stock type cover, or fabricated steel,
max. 4” height, cannot exceed 4” beyond
rear of body and filler. All rear bumpers must have lower
quarter panel nerf (considered as part of
bumper), lower quarter nerfs must be against body and extend a
minimum of 1 foot forward before turning
and mandatory connecting to frame. All bumpers cannot exceed
being flush with sides. All collapsible
bumpers must be welded so they will not pull apart. Bumpers must
be securely fastened to the frame. No
visible reinforcement on bumpers or cowcatchers. Front and rear
bumper hoops no higher than 8 inches,
no wider than the frame. Bracing allowed – two braces per hoop,
no larger than 1 ˝”. May be welded to
frame behind bumper.
WEIGHTS & BALLAST
After race class weight (without adding fuel) 3000 lbs.
After race Crate motor (without adding fuel) 2750 lbs.
Cars using jacking bolts must weigh 3250 Lbs after race.
(without adding fuel)
Any added weight or ballast must be mounted safely & painted
white with car number painted on it.
ALL lost weights become property of the track.
Race Track Officials reserve the right to reject any entrant for
any reason they deem necessary and
applicable. All participants are conduct themselves in a manner
that reflects favorably on the sport of auto
racing. Foul or abusive language will not be tolerated. The
management reserves the right to change any
rule or rules they feel it is necessary and refuse any protest
if they feel it is unnecessary and being used
for harassing reasons. All fines and/or suspension will be in
effect at all events. The interpretations and
invoking of the rules published herein shall be determined by
Officials only in their professional discretion.
UNIBODY
The diagram shown is what needs to be stock EXCEPT where noted.
These are the measurements:
Front frame is measured from center hole of front engine
crossmember 32 inches back or from lower A-
frame mount 20 inches back. Must have stock rear frame rails &
use stock mounting points.
